I came to Dubai during the COVID-19 pandemic when I was just 24 years old. I had studied engineering, but like many young people, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life. I wasn't chasing a dream company or building a startup—I was simply searching for my purpose.

After spending some time traveling through Turkey and Georgia, I returned to Dubai with the same question still on my mind: What am I meant to do?

Then one ordinary afternoon, everything changed.

I stepped outside my villa for a short walk wearing my pajamas. The door closed behind me. I WAS LOCKED OUT.

I walked to the security office hoping someone could help, but there wasn't much they could do. As a last resort, I borrowed a ladder from a neighbor, dragged it all the way back to my house, and climbed up, hoping the upstairs balcony door had been left unlocked. Thankfully, it was.

Looking back, it was almost funny.

But after that experience, one question stayed with me: Why did I have to go through all of that?

Back home in China, smart locks were already becoming part of everyday life. We used them without thinking twice. Yet here in Dubai, many people had never even seen one.

That moment sparked my curiosity.

With my engineering background, I became fascinated by the technology. I spent months studying everything I could—how smart locks work, how they're built, how they're installed, how secure they are, and how they could genuinely improve people's lives.

The more I learned, the more I realized this wasn't just another gadget.

It was a product that could solve real problems.

So I started introducing smart locks to homeowners across Dubai, one family at a time.

Since then, we've had the privilege of seeing how a simple product can make a meaningful difference.

We've helped parents who no longer worry about their children forgetting or losing their house keys.

We've helped a mother who was locked outside her home with two toddlers, giving her a safer way to access her home.
